Questions, answered.

Everything guests usually ask before their first head spa — in plain words.

What is a head spa?

A head spa is a scalp-focused wellness ritual that originated in Japan — think of it as a facial for your scalp. At Wonderland Healing, each session includes a magnified scalp analysis, micro-bubble deep cleansing, warm hydro-therapy rinsing, tension-easing scalp care, and calming botanical aromatherapy, leaving your scalp refreshed and your mind deeply rested.

What happens during a head spa treatment?

Every session starts with a magnified scalp analysis, so your ritual is designed around your scalp's needs. It then flows through micro-bubble deep cleansing, warm cascading-water rinsing, pressure-point care for the scalp, neck, and shoulders, and nutrient-rich scalp serums sealed in with soothing botanical aromas. You simply recline, breathe, and rest.

How often should I get a head spa?

Many guests come monthly, the way they would schedule a facial — a regular reset that keeps oil and product buildup from accumulating. Others visit seasonally, when dryness or oiliness shifts with the weather. Your first magnified scalp analysis is the best guide to the right rhythm for your scalp.

Is a head spa good for oily or dry scalp?

Yes — both. Deep cleansing lifts away the excess oil and product buildup that make an oily scalp feel never quite clean, while gentle hydration-focused care comforts dry, tight, or itchy scalps. Your scalp analysis shows exactly what your scalp needs, so every ritual is tailored before we begin.

How long does a head spa session take?

Our signature rituals run 60 or 90 minutes, and combination rituals let you add a facial or foot soak for a longer escape. Plan to arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in — and expect to leave with soft hair, a refreshed scalp, and a clear, rested mind.
